Manual therapists, osteopaths, chiropractors seem to have talents others don't have...
Particularly they claim to "feel" all kinds of abnormalities through palpation.
"I "feel" there's a problem between C6-C7
There's some limitation in anterior translation and left rotation..."
>>> Sounds familiar too you?
Honestly, do you really believe that 😊?
The problem is, that when I am confronted with these kind statements, I often feel like an idiot, for the simple reason that I don't seem to "feel" all those abnormalities?
On examining the patient, the major question is:
- Do the tests I use have any validity?
- Do I really feel what I think I feel?
- How do I have to interpret the test results?
The answer to those questions is discussed in detail in the online Masterclass in orthopaedic medicine.
