Cyriax clinical reasoning in orthopaedic medicine

Cyriax clinical reasoning and diagnostic algorhythm

Cyriax clinical reasoning?

First of all it is important to emphasize that the Cyriax clinical reasoning system is not the same for all joints.  There is a hughe difference between the system used in the extremities and the one used in the spine. Those are two different clnical reasoning approaches.

The diagnostic outcome is also different: whereas, in the extremities, a rather "specific" diagnosis can often be reached, it is different in the spine.  In the spine a "aspecific" diagnosis is more common.

However, "aspecific" diagnoses also occur in the extremities: e.g. an internal derangement or loose body.

Which clinical reasoning algorhythm do we use when we examine a patient suffering for a musculoskeletal problem in the extremities?

Can we use a structured system in order to reach a relevant diagnosis?

How would it be for you if you could learn all you need to know about Cyriax clinical reasoning during a 5 days course, in a group with max. 4 (!) participants? Sounds crazy, doesn't it?  Discover all about the unique Mastermind private training in modern orthopaedic medicine Cyriax.

(note that the clinical reasoning path illustrated in the film is used only in the extremities and not in the spine)
